About Us

Consumer Confederation of India (CCI) is a largest network of Indian consumer organizations. CCI was founded on 6th May, 2001 in a meeting of consumer organizations held at Constitution Club New Delhi, organized by Coordination Committee of Indian Consumer Organization (CCICO).

CCI was formed to establish coordination and networking between various consumer organizations of the country and to erect a strong consumer body to give impetus to vast and vigorous consumer movement at national levels. CCI has successfully achieved its objective of establishing an outstanding national presence, with over 450 voluntary consumer organizations, NGOs, and consumer groups across the country associated with it.

CCI organized several national, zonal and state level programs in the different parts of the country. Including National Convention, National Level Seminars, National Workshops, rally & other consumer awareness programs & launched several National level campaigns. CCI worked through its governing board- National governing council, State governing council and district convener. Any VCO working in the field of consumer protection may become a member of CCI.
